The problem is carried over from 2042.
People complained in their droves that pve was neglected and it wasn't fair that they were punished for preffering pve so dice enabled full progression for them and then portal was nothing but bot xp farms.
So this all because of whining pve players demanding they can progress at same rate as pvp.
Dice need to completely 100% disable all progression for bot servers, its the only way to make portal usable.
Disagree. They should reduce the XP, not get rid of it if there is no other human players. As it was in 2042.. I can't recall the exact term they used but it was reduced XP rates or something similar, which worked. Problem is that the server slots are filled 24/7 with almost all of them being used for stupid things like "FLY HELICOPTER PRACTICE". This is not BF, it's something that should be able to be done OFFLINE, and their server lists should be relative to each region, not (80 servers globally) as my OP states, it's just stupid and makes no sense.
"Whining PvE" players? It doesn't hurt you if people prefer to play vs bots and players does it? How are they whining? EA needs to separate progression between PvE and PvP. Progress as you want on either side but it does not carry over when changing play modes. Yes, you would have two characters. Big deal. You want to unlock and progress faster for PvE play, then earn it only on PvE servers.
