it is obvious that companies made games due to current trends and market. What you want from decades ago won't ever come back. That is simply evolution and taste changes from the demographic and even devs themselves. 
It is just a feeling that they experienced funner game style then they will adapt it inside the game to attract younger players = more money. 

If you slide or jump... you should have a fairly hefty penalty for ADS, stability, control, and recoil for a significant period of time AFTER the slide and jump. Not talking several seconds or anything... but it should be hard to slide jump shoot... because ya know... people don't do that. 

Do you just consider anyone that disagrees with you "childish"? Do always resort to ad hominem attacks when you have no argument?

That I can agree with. I think the recent update made sliding more slippery, or something. When I'm playing support, I often slide right past the person I'm trying to revive now.

BFV was the last time I could actually fly a plane and get kills on anything. 2042 changed it and the jets are useless, you either get nuked by constant AA missiles or by the few that can still manage to ace combat even with the changes.

I can still fly helis though but the tiny AF maps and constant lock ons make it nearly impossible to do much.

planes are always op in historical bfs because the auto locking rockets haven't invented yet compared to modern and futuristic setting

Sliding should be nerfed to be for defensive use only.

There should be a 1-2 second cooldown before you can shoot after sliding.

This is the only way to stop the cod style gameplay that they have encouraged with this stupid slide-jump-shoot crap.
