Layoffs or not, they aren't fixing any problems in the game. The largest "fix" they did was to recoil, and it wasn't even a game breaking issue, it was just that recoil was a little wonky. The hitreg is a complete RNG and they "fixed" recoil. To me, the recoil feels exactly the same so I see no improvement at all.
The menu bugs that were added in the FIRST season 1 patch are STILL in the game. I guess they slightly fixed defibs next to walls. All the broken hyper-meta weapons are still broken hyper-meta weapons. They're still investing in Redsuck while the people who paid for the game ask why it even exists and people who won't ever pay play it twice then go back to CoD or PUBG or APEX (another EA title, what genius decided to compete with another EA title?) or literally any other BR that was made back when people actually wanted a BR game and not just a crappy clone.
Nothing is being done, let alone anything even being said about how broken the assists are for controllers. I'm not even talking about their aim assist, I'm complaining about their projectile guidance assist and less recoil AND better accuracy. I mean, I just can't even understand what the reasoning here is. "you know guys, clearly using a MnK makes your gun shoot straighter." Or what even is the reasoning? All I can assume is that the devs play with controllers and completely crashed out and raged so hard they gave controllers insane buffs that have NOTHING to do with the difference between using MnK and controller.
Then you have the assault class being absolute trash. Complete dogwater. Just basically the worst in not just BF6, but probably in all Battlefield titles ever. Their special item is a vape that makes you run faster for 8 seconds. WOWZERS. Oh, it slightly reduces the damage you take from explosions and fire. BUT, it takes longer to hit the vape than it takes for the grenade to explode or the fire to burn you dead. Oh, it clears blinding effects from flash grenades. So, first, someone else has to make the mistake of picking assault, then make the mistake of bringing flash grenades instead of boom grenades, THEN you have to hit your vape if you were stupid enough to stare directly at the flash grenade when it pops, THEN it takes you 2 seconds to hit the vape, when the flash effect takes 3 seconds to clear. INSANE. The LADDER is better than this trash zero nic vape they gave to all assault players.
Support is broken. Every sweatlord just feeds themselves ammo with the goliath and never defibs or even PTFO.
Recon? More like, who in the world thought a bell curve should be used for a damage profile? Probably a person in the middle of the bell curve themselves. Then they got rid of suppression effects, and I mean real suppression effects, not just "oh no, stahp, you're a bad boy, nuoooo" effects. Recon can be taking tank rounds to the chest and still have perfect aim where they shoot a dudes pinky toe and his head explodes.
Then you have ROCKET LAUNCHER, sorry, I mean engineer. 5 rockets. Why? Again, I think a dev hyper-raged that they couldn't just solo a tank as infantry and decided this was the best solution. TANKS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A THREAT. Instead a tank spawns, and if it doesn't get 4 engies spray painting it, it gets completely wrecked by about 12.71 billion rockets to the face. Engies also get the broken gun specialization, or by that I mean SMGs. SMGs are the most accurate weapons in the game (after broken sniper) and they maintain a good damage profile even at range. Oh, and every launcher except the RPG sucks, for a myriad of reasons. AA launchers just missmissmiss on practically every shot for practically any reason. The M136 AGM is super slow and does super no damage. The Jav... Oh, the JAV, or what we should call it is "HEY SHOOT THIS GIANT RED DOT BECAUSE IT WILL TAKE ME 10 SECONDS TO LOCK YOU". The LAW, well it's ok, but it's super slow and if the armor is under something, like a roof, the LAW will just bang the roof and never hit the tank. And the reticle doesn't show where the rocket actually travels, super weird.
And oh MAN the maps! Granted, due to the complete LACK of class balance, the maps can't be entirely blamed for all their problems. Due to the HORRID hitreg, they get even more slack. But gee-freakin-willickers I can't understand some of these places. You can tell that either no one on the testing teams can snipe at all, OR, the people making decisions ONLY snipe and want the maps to work best for their playstyle. Mirak sucks because campers just get on that one building and CAMP the entire freaking game. Contaminated falls right into this sniper heaven as well. Sobek could be a great map if they would just add a way for players to get to the exploit areas instead of letting campers exploit into a special spot and have no real threats. The green tower, you know the green tower, also needs to be deleted, or should be able to be collapsed because oh MAN. Vehicles on Sobek pretty much spawn to die as well since there's no strong cover for them. Empire state should be deleted. Firestorm was turned from a good map into a trash map, Blackwell fields blech, Eastwood has INSANE pax advantage for no reason at all, Manhatten needs helos removed and all roofs need to be OOB, Libation is okay I guess, though it's another map where vehicles spawn to die. Basically, the only good maps are Iberian and Cairo, and both those maps have significant issues as well.So, again, layoffs aside, this game has and has had a hundred different problems that no one is addressing, and I'm honestly going to bail at the end of S2 or earlier if I just finally crash out hard enough.

My man layoffs or bad game does not matter to them anymore. They got what they wanted from us and that’s our money.

There's no support as it is anyway, the only thing different would be firing the dead weight to get people who actually give 2 shats.
Im Still missing paid for items bfpro season1. 1st support said "sorry we know its frustrating but there's nothing they can do..yafa yada". SO infuriating. Ive gotten my money back from playing n enjoying the game 10 times over, but burns buying so.ething n not getting it. As small n item as it may be.
I'd love to see the analytics. There had to be a big drop in season2 sales battlepass n store items I bet. Folks who got shafted season1 are now shy n warry of EAs scam.

It's a very sad state of affairs they've left us with. It's better than 2042, but that's not saying much, as that was barely playable.
We'll have two large maps, the small temporary AI stuff from the roadmap, and then that's it, it'll end it's development cycle.
Unsure what's possessing them to make sure bad decisions.
