BF6 Ban Appeal Pending 15 Days – Case #256032387

Hello EA Community Managers,

I am writing to seek assistance with my Battlefield 6 permanent ban appeal, which has now been pending for 15 days without any response.

My original appeal case number is #256032387.

1. Appeal status

My account was permanently banned on October 2, 2026, for "Gameplay Enhancement."

I submitted an appeal on October 5, providing an explanation and supporting evidence.

As of October 20:

  • Penalty History still shows "Pending".
  • My Cases still shows "New".
  • Case History contains only my original submission, with no visible response from EA.

I understand that appeals require careful investigation, but I am concerned about the prolonged wait without any update.

2. Important findings from my official EA data

I recently downloaded my EA account data and discovered some information that I believe deserves further investigation.

  • My penalty history lists the internal reason code as "COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE".
  • My last recorded Battlefield 6 matches were played on September 27.
  • On October 2, I was away from home on vacation. My gaming PC was powered off, and I did not launch Battlefield 6 on any PC.
  • To the best of my recollection, I only used the Steam mobile app to browse the store while connected to a VPN.
  • However, my EA data export shows a Battlefield 6 anti-cheat session on October 2, from 05:29:31 to 05:45:50.
  • The ban was imposed shortly afterwards, at 06:02:17 UTC.

I understand that an anti-cheat session record does not necessarily indicate a cheating detection. However, I would appreciate clarification about the origin of this session and whether it was related to my ban or whether the penalty was based on earlier gameplay activity.

3. Unable to contact EA Support

I have repeatedly tried contacting EA Support through the EA NextStep chatbot, using both Battlefield 6 Support and EA Account Support.

Unfortunately, the chatbot always redirects me to the "Submit an appeal" self-service page, which only provides a link to Penalty History.

I cannot find any option to contact a human EA Advisor or submit my newly discovered evidence to the review team.

4. My request

Could an EA Community Manager please help me with the following?

  1. Confirm whether my original appeal (#256032387) is still in the appropriate review queue.
  2. Advise whether there is a way to request a status update after 15 days without a response.
  3. Explain how I can submit the additional information from my official EA data export to the relevant review team without restarting or delaying my original appeal.
  4. If possible, direct me to a human support advisor or the appropriate team for further assistance.

I understand that community managers cannot directly overturn bans or disclose confidential anti-cheat information. I am not asking for that. I am simply requesting guidance and a fair review of my existing appeal.

I have been unable to play Battlefield 6 for over two weeks, and the new season has already started. I am also missing time-limited Battle Pass progression and rewards, which makes this situation particularly frustrating.

I genuinely enjoy Battlefield 6 and would be very grateful for any assistance in resolving this matter.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

However, my appeal has now been pending for 16 days without any response or update

That is normal. While the general time frame for an outcome is 10 working days, that isn't set in stone and it can be longer.

Is there any official way to follow up on an existing appeal or provide additional evidence without restarting the review?

You could try contacting EA Help and asking if they can confirm that it's progressing as expected, but interacting with the appeal directly might push it to the back of the queue.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that only the EA ToS team can review and make decisions on bans.

However, my appeal has now been pending for 16 days without any response or update.

My main concern is not asking forum members to overturn the ban, but finding a way to confirm that my case is progressing normally.

I have also discovered additional information in my official EA data export that may be relevant to the appeal, but I cannot find a way to submit it to the review team.

I have tried contacting EA Support through EA NextStep multiple times, but it always redirects me to the Penalty History page without offering a live advisor.

Is there any official way to follow up on an existing appeal or provide additional evidence without restarting the review?

Thank you again for your help.

  • Nobody on the EA forums or in general can assist you with the ban review HWNZHJGHSF088. You will just have to wait for the verdict from the EA ToS team.
