BF6 Character, Skin, and Store problems

Battlefield 6's store does not specify which skin belongs to which character, nor whichever faction it belongs to. After unfortunately spending money to try and use a skin for a character I already owned before the season, I discovered that it can STILL only be used for whichever class they're tied to. However, this does NOT apply to the new characters that were created the new season...Why can't I play as whatever character I'd like for whichever class, at least within their faction? There are still very obvious appearances to whichever class you play as because of the gear you have on your literal backpack, regardless of character being played. Denying a character with a skin you like to be used for whatever class is one thing, but for the store to not even tell you which class, character, or faction it's for is downright predatory. I'm not asking for all characters to be played no matter the faction, but Id at least like the option to choose a character I've unlocked within said faction BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE FORCED TO PLAY AS A GIRL, considering NATO quite literally has no other options for the support class...I dare say it's misogynistic that it could perceive the trope of "only women are medics." Quite honestly, the introduction of class specific characters, alongside character specific skins, which neither of the two are interchangeable in any form whatsoever, with the combination of not informing the player base as to what skin belongs to who in the store itself, shows me and anyone else that can put it together, that EA WANTS the players to ACCIDENTALLY spend money on something they can't or won't use. Furthermore, characters we don't have unlocked can't even be inspected to see which skin is available for them, which that alone needs to be addressed if I'm ever to consider getting any skin. In my opinion, all of this could've been avoided had they just let us choose male or female, and skin color so I could keep the same identity for all the classes we play. It was done in BFV, and it was only poorly received because EA went absolute ape**bleep** on the clothes we could put on, such as ash coated trenchcoats, with actively burning embers and a smoke aura.
