We are a week later and absolutely nothing has been done, it only got worse!
The game is near death and a good meter is Twitch, Bf6 now only reaches like 6k viewers, Redsec reaches 35k viewers which is extremely low for a brand new 'free' game and they reach this number only because all the major CoD streamers are on it (and prob get sponsored). In exactly 10 days when BO7 releases they will all be gone and Bf6 and Redsec will be dead, because their audience of children follow these streamer juveniles in adult bodies in whatever they do.
This game has so many bugs it was clearly not ready for release, the net code is awful and i think the more powerful your device the more it works against you, i literally played recon with the new fully kitted sniper and 80% of my shots didn't register, the bullets seems to be made out of ice and melt before reaching the enemy.
Portal has become completely useless without the ability to backfill bots, like who on earth will wait for anyone to join their server, let alone 20 people to at least have a decent game, Making a custom map with bots is a complete joke, one would think that using the default tools would make a decent game, but nooo..bots spawn in one place and the other bots are literally farming them. Also apparently when making a custom map on default the vehicles, heli's and jet's do not spawn, the other thing is, the custom games end always with a draw, getting zero XP. Then i said, let's check out the battle royal in Portal, wanted to run around the map, check it out, yeah right! What was i thinking, minimum players to start a game is 50, no bot backfill, like seriously what are they smoking! It will freeze in hell before anyone that makes a custom battle royal and get 50 people to join to start their game.
Somehow i can't change my key binds to jump as leader, or to detach from leader, they're both stuck on space key, can't remove the bind either, can't change them? Anyone else got this problem?
Bottom line is they made this game with a mindset to battle against CoD, they somehow believe if they make the game more like CoD all CoD players will just abandon their favorite franchise, which is delusional. The only thing they've accomplished is alienate their own community resulting in everyone being pissed and their behavior being the drop spilling over the bucket.
Removing the bots, removing XP and progression with bots, punishing everyone but the people that exploited it is the mistake that killed the game, either they reverse this right away and save what's left to be saved or the game dies 10 days from now.
Absolutely none of my friends want to play Bf6 any longer until changes are made and you right the wrongs you did to your community. Fix the net code, make the maps larger like you said you would, ban the cheaters because at this point i believe you just allow them to cheat, i've never seen a game with so many cheaters, bring back bots, XP and full progression on which you sold your game to many, fix portal, make challenges fun and not a second job! You made these challenges based on players that play the game 6 hours a day, maybe make challenges based on people with a life which is most of us that have a family, a job that play the game like max 6h a week.
Remove Redsec challenges from Bf6, we bought Bf6 not Redsec, it needs to be a standalone game, how do you even put challenges in Bf6 for another game many don't play or wanna play?! Forcing things on people have the opposite effect you know, i'm beginning to assume you guys think we're all just a bunch of idiots that will jump through your hoops at the snap of your fingers.
There are only three options here 1. All this is by design, they banked the $ and couldn't care less and don't want a large community 2. The decision makers have no clue what gaming is about and only focus on the $ 3. Half your team are a bunch of latte sipping yuppies that need to be fired. Here's the deal, pissed of people don't buy your skins or merch, the numbers of players that left the game are enormous and wait till the 14th when BO7 releases. So the big bosses will not like that in anyway won't they, so either you fix the game, do right to your community or i'm pretty much sure at least half of you will be out of a job within the next month.
Oh and fix your DXGI error hung crash problem you're ignoring the post about with over a thousand complaints. My game still crashes if i don't enable debug mode and since the update there seems to be a new major graphic issue.
