I am dropping soloplayer recommendations here, under this very detailed take on long-term success.
I would personally be able to play outside off squad and doing that before match starts. Please, would you allow playing without needing to auto join in with randoms, just to jump into pretty useless "lonewolf"-locked squad in beginning of every single match? Basically, allow playing without a squad by making disapproving auto squad join an option in options menu or loading screen like in Bad Company 2.
Thanks for adding this suggestion. I think giving players more control over squad participation would be a useful quality-of-life improvement.
An optional “Auto-Join Squad: On/Off” setting could accommodate players who prefer a lone-wolf playstyle without changing the squad system for everyone else.
The important point is player choice: keep automatic squad assignment as the default, while allowing players to opt out when they want to play independently.
