Bot Backfill Return Date

I agree! I’m a mid player and all this PVP is stressful after a long day of work. I want to be able to play solo or with my friends and NOT against a level 85 just trying to snipe me at the spawn point. The current ‘casual breakthrough’ is good except I don’t want to play against other real people like it is set up now. I want ONLY BOTS! Please. I don’t care if xp is modified. Just make it the way it was in 2042. 

I see there are players complaining they want to play real people and complain on the Bot Backfill. Then there is a huge following for Solo matches against just BOTs which has been removed (after people have given significant money to the company).

EA/DICE have made some really bad business decisions lately. They should stop their current plans for Season 2 and focus on re-working use of BOTS in the various game modes. This is essential for the whole customer base.

For one, I have had to return to COD games for great Solo Team Deathmatches with just BOTs across all their maps. As soon as Battlefield 6 has a BOTs update I will look to return - Unless they wish to offer a refund and compensation to the 100-1000s users like me.

I'm not at all optimistic that they'll return. I can't help but feel like I've been scammed. I just want to chill and play BOTS in a verified mode. I aren't interested in the farming nonsense. I just have fun playing alone in a game against BOTS.

There's a ton of reasons why I prefer playing BOTS, firstly because that's why I bought the game as that was promised in the marketing but from a more personal perspective, I felt the games were more competitive because BOTS actually played the objective of the mode. I'm also one of those that care about the aesthetics of a game and BOTS don't slide and bunny hop around the map every second and switch weapons like they've got a terrible uncontrollable twitch. Playing online and seeing others play like that takes away that military shooter feel for me, granted I'm aware Battlefield isn't exactly a military simulation but still, it felt more realistic and I care about that. I'm so disappointed that I fell for the lies of 'play Battlefield your way' rubbish.

I can't see myself playing the game again unless they bring them back with weapon and career XP, even if they halved it, I'd take it because like I said, the farming nonsense doesn't interest me. I just want to chill and play Conquest with BOTS, all verified by Dice. Is that so much to ask.

SO, they are tweaking settings but still refuse to enable people that purchased the game and just wish to enjoy verified games solo to play. Why are they so against this? Why do they so encourage players to move to COD that has great Solo TeamDeath matches etc. and other games.

Is it because they now have our money and refuse a refund?  Do they think we will trust them again when they launch the next game?

You can be refunded. Them removing progression and solo play against bots falls under false advertising, so if they refuse to, you contact wherever you bought the game, or if you bought it through EA and they refuse, you can do a chargeback with your bank.

I bought Battlefield 6 in August and played it 25 hours on launch. When they removed the features, Sony gave me my full refund because of the false and misleading advertising. 

Perhaps then Sony is doing the right thing, but Steam is not. Steam refuses to give refunds for this even though for many of us the game was changed long after our 2 hour return window...they refuse no matter how many times you ask. I had approx. 25 hours into the game when they suddenly removed PvE and the bots, and so I asked for a refund several times (they turned me down due to 2 hour window) and was eventually threatened with a ban if I didn't stop asking.

So yea...you're not getting a refund from Steam, if you're over your 2 hour playtime bs.

Could I have done a charge-back with the bank? Sure, but then I would lose access to all my Steam games on the account that Steam would lock and need to either take them to court or buy back the locked games under another account...let's see...do I spend thousands on attorney fees and/or re-buying confiscated games...or do I just accept the $100 loss? This is the dilemma one faces by buying games from Steam or any platform where they have you "by the ballz", and have an anti-consumer policy, attitude and behavior.

If they refuse to refund you because of their policy, then file a chargeback through your bank. Screenshot your conversations with Steam as proof that you tried them first and they refused. Their refund policy does not override the law.

All i want to do is set up a server that i can go and practice flying against bots. I dont care if XP and all that is turned of as i just want to practice by myself.

Now they are forcing you to have 8 real players to just start the server. This is not what we were promised. 
LET ME START MY OWN SERVER TO PRACTICE IN SOLO!!!

Mr_Markie02​ Doesn't seem like you read my full post...specifically, the comments I made about doing a charge-back. Makes little financial sense charging back $100 when, doing so, will end up costing me many thousands of dollars in re-acquiring all the games that Steam will take away by locking my account.
