Breaking up of players

Please address the disbanding of server players. After each match the players are broken apart and placed on different servers with bots.

So a full server after a match ends up being an empty server with only a couple of players and all bots.

I'm an old school gamer that has played the franchise and I can tell you that this is ruining the battlefield experience to the point that I am wanting to stop playing. Also inability to view free dedicated servers is a drawback.

At times when attempting to join a gamez there are issues finding a server with good player count. Some modes such as attrition are unplayable, because there is never any players on the server allocated. If there are the game never starts due to minimum requirements.

  • Tons of us keep asking for persistent servers in regular matchmaking but they refuse to listen and keep saying that's what portal is for. Problem is that portal is a mess and has a whole bunch of issues and missing features and the portal servers aren't fed through any sort of quick match playlist...so it's completely separate from the main playerbase. This was complained about during all 4 years of bf2042, and they still went with the same crappy system for this game. I don't think they'll ever listen and it'll end up hurting their game.

It's pretty disappointing to say the least. It really makes the game seem as it does not have a player base. Not saying that is the case, but when you're slugged onto an unpopulated server with bots, that is what it ends up being.  In combination to this, the inconsistency of the bots is ridiculous.. at times they will headshot you with ab AR from 100m the second you are in LOS while you're prone in the grass ... No way you'd be spotted, while at other times they literally run past,  stare you down and do nothing.  It's a sub par experience.

I think matchmaking has a lot of competing priorities, and keeping players together is low on the list. In some cases, it would be impossible. Sometimes people search for specific maps and game modes, and they might be with you when they coincide, and split next round when you move on to another map that isn't on the list they searched for. You might have joined a generic random map rotation of all-out-war, but they searched for a specific game mode and one or two specific maps.  You join and then split. Just an example. There are also people in different places which next round more perfectly match with anothet lobby that was just thrown together closer to them but further from you. There are also people who just started searching for their first game if the day and others who just finished their last game of the day. When it is all a floating demand and instances of servers popping up everywhere to meet demand and performance expectations, keeping people together is low priority or even anti-productive.

I suggest you search for and join a hosted community experience. Those will keep you together round after round because they aren't using a matchmaking system prioritizing changing demand. If you don't see the experience you want to play, host your own.

We need to start loving portal and giving community creators our attention and time. It's the only thing we got that still has a lot of love and passion in it. We need to overwhelm the bot farms and toxic exploiters with love and attention of the good things and the experiences we want to support.

It's literally every single game, regardless of mode. Shouldn't have to be using portal. I mean to break up the entire lobby from full to a single or a couple of players is nuts, often need to exit the mode and select it again from multiplayer menu in order to get a more populated server, and in that instance it isn't even full. So when you consider the fact that there are multiple servers going simultaneously that equate to a single full server, it goes to show you that the split is unnecessary. Considering that there are hundreds of thousands of players, it can't be difficult to have servers that have better player/bot balance. Even in Oceania there has to be several thousand going at any given time. I mean just reading through all the posts, there are thousands of folk complaining about this over various platforms. If that isn't a clear cut signal to EA/Dice then I don't know what is.

  •

At the end of every match, a full lobby of 64 players get sent to 25 to 30 different servers with 2 to 3 players per server.

    WTAF?

  • Played my first match today in which i got lobbed with half players half bots.

Alot of people sometimes play one game get annoyed then go play something else, i always request to stay with the party leader and guess what NEVER get matched back into the next game with them.

  • The matchmaking system is clearly fundamentally flawed and serves EA/DICE needs/wants totally at the expense of what players would want.

There can be thousands of active players and it will still create bot matches.
