The reason Recon has C4 is to fit that "Saboteur"/Spec-Ops variant, I guess. Recon has the lowest number of gadgets anyway so don't suggest to nerf him even further by removing his single asset to deal against armor or buildings..
On the other side, Support is too stacked. He is a medic/reviver; a re-supplier; a one-man mortar crew; a running Chuck Norris with a LMG... Honestly, no other class has that level of versatility and importance currently in the game. Just let it go and rather rely on your teammates.
If Support really is that good, the auto recharge would make him somewhat less powerful as players wouldn't rely on ammo as much.
