I feel they struck gold with how you gotta resupply your gadgets, albeit a bit vague but it forces you to seek out ammo boxes and stay there for a bit before you can go again. Slows everything down a bit and prevents lonewolfing too much.

Literally noone places supply boxes though. On maps like Operation Firestorm you spend half the game running across the map just to recharge C4. Not the most exciting gameplay. C4 is an outlier in that you have always been able to resupply your own C4.

I feel like they struck sh*t with how you gotta resupply gadgets. It takes ages even with an ammo box to the point that I'd rather die than have to seek out and wait for ammo again.

Yup, this battlefield really knocked my interest in the game out the park

It's the same playing engineer.
Unless you get lucky and someone has dropped an ammo box on your position, there's zero point trying to find resupply, because no-one ever drops ammo, because no-one is running support because all the run & gunners are taking beacons to respawn close to objectives because the auto healing is so quick that having a heal box doesn't matter.
It's also why the non-RPG missile launchers are useless because they get one less missile than the RPG.

Nailed all of the issues on the head. I wouldn't be against a very much slower auto recharge and crates on each objective to resupply ammo and gadgets quickly. This would circumvent the issue of Supports running and gunning without dropping supply boxes.
