Bring Back Gauntlet! - Battlefield 6 Community Feedback Thread

I genuinely love this mode. It was the only mode I played, and it was the one I enjoyed the most. The unique gameplay, the intensity, and the overall experience made me keep coming back to the game. Without Gauntlet, the game just doesn't feel the same to me. I know I'm probably not the only one who misses it, and I really hope the developers will consider bringing it back, even as a limited-time mode or a permanent playlist. Please listen to the players who love Gauntlet. We want it back

Was the best mode. Definitely not playing as much due to the recent release and looking at other games now. Hopefully war dogs or something else comes to console. Please being it back.

The team knows that removing Gauntlet from the active playlist lineup was disappointing for players who enjoyed the mode. We value giving players different ways to enjoy Battlefield, and the decision was not made lightly.

While there’s nothing to announce right now, never say never. Bringing the feedback together in one place like this is a helpful way to make the community’s thoughts easier to track.

Literally played so much gauntlet, it’s actually all I played, so easy to pick up play a couple of hours and put back down again. Way prefer an objective based and respawn game mode. Bring it back EA. 

And majority of people like to bash this mode and say nobody was playing meanwhile the majority of Africa only plays Gauntlet. They removed this but then they dont even give us local servers for their stupid rapid royale.

We already play on high ping for Battle royale and now even this mode has high ping. It's like they want to lose their African audience and wonder why players stopped going online the moment season 5 was dropped.

Removing Gauntlet from Battlefield 6 is a huge loss because it strips the game of a vital training and skill-building component that benefits both new and veteran players. Gauntlet provided a dedicated space where players could practise movement, gunplay, vehicle handling, and tactical decision-making without the pressure of live combat. It was a proving ground that allowed for experimentation with weapons and gadgets, helping players understand the mechanics of the game more deeply.

Without Gauntlet, the learning curve for newcomers becomes much steeper. Instead of gradually gaining confidence, players are thrown directly into live matches where they may struggle to keep up, becoming frustrated and disengaged. For veterans, Gauntlet offered a sandbox-like environment to refine advanced strategies, test loadouts, and sharpen reflexes, which in turn kept the community competitive and evolving.

Beyond just training, Gauntlet also fostered creativity. Players could set personal challenges, speedrun obstacle courses, or collaborate with friends to master coordinated tactics. Its removal diminishes the sense of mastery and progression that made Battlefield feel rewarding beyond traditional matches, and could ultimately harm the longevity of the player base.

Even though it wasn’t a ranked game mode, it kept player coming back for more. What EA could have done is introduce new maps for gauntlet to keep it fresh and attract more players and retain the players that they already have. 

With the removal of gauntlet I have started looking for alternatives FPS’s that could offer a similar experience of a tournament based game mode where teams go face to face to reach the final and eventually win. 

im not saying the gauntlet was perfect but it was the only game mode that kept me logging in on a daily basis, now that is gone I’m slowly becoming more hesitant to boot up BF6 and already downloading other FPS games.

Every match felt different, and the elimination-style gameplay made victories feel rewarding while giving players a reason to keep coming back for more.

One of the best things about Gauntlet was that it offered something different from the usual Battlefield modes. Battlefield is known for its large-scale battles, vehicles, and massive maps, but Gauntlet provided a faster, more focused experience where every decision mattered. It was a great way to test your skills, improve as a player, and compete with friends.

Bringing Gauntlet back would also give Battlefield 6 more variety and keep players interested in the game for longer. Not everyone wants to play the same modes all the time, and Gauntlet gave players another reason to jump into Battlefield. It could also be improved with new maps, different challenges, updated rules, and fresh rewards while keeping the core gameplay that made it fun in the first place.

Most importantly, bringing back Gauntlet would show that the developers are listening to the community and recognize that different players enjoy different styles of Battlefield gameplay. Even if it returned as a limited-time mode or a permanent playlist option, it would give fans the opportunity to enjoy it again without taking anything away from the other modes.

 It was a fun, competitive, and unique mode that deserves another chance. Battlefield 6 would benefit from having more gameplay variety, and Gauntlet could once again become a mode that players look forward to playing with their friends
