I’m sure this has been brought up before, but this game really needs to bring back solo and co-op mode with half XP progression. I don’t get to play that much anymore, but when I do, I would prefer to just play a few rounds with my friends without worrying about the insane amount of cheaters I’ve come across lately, or have to deal with sweaty players. Not only that, but from what I’ve seen and experienced, fans are disappointed with season 2 and player counts are lower than expected. So, adding in solo/co-op mode would probably bring back a ton of player to the game and make EA some money so they can stop laying off workers on the BF6 team. 🤔

The thing is DICE made solo/co op a thing in 2042 with FULL PROGRESSION. So why now with BF6 is that a problem? In 2042 you also have the option to simply select Solo/Coop from the main menu for Conquest, Rush and Breakthrough. Again, WHY and HOW is this not a thing in BF6? Instead of DICE taking the best features from all BF games and integrating these features in their new titles, we instead get less and pay more. Like getting less maps. Like not having ammo and supply stations at each objective ala BFV. Like being able to dig trenches and fortify objectives via BFV. The franchise is regressing.

I posted this on the last update announcement by the Principal Game Designer, Florian Le Bihan. Hopefully he sees it and we get Solo and Co-op against bots. We’ll see if he cares.EA_Rtas ... please see that EA's people with authority to make major financial changes see this reply. At a minimum there are 2 million people (10% of total sales) that bought this game for the campaign and PvE against bots. EA is missing revenue from season pass, skins, xp boost, etc from these people. Question WHY? ... Answer... EA/Dice changed the game two weeks after launch. It was in Portal we could create Solo against bots games for "Verified Experiences", that is gone now. Put it back please.This was/is a comment topic on this forum. Many people have told EA they want to play solo or co-op against bots. Let them have back what they bought the game for. In the "PORTAL 101 GUIDE" it says we can do this, but we cannot. Is this on purpose or is the game broken? I say it is broken. You want 2 million players back playing the game, do what I am telling EA. I believe someone panicked over the "bot farming" issue... without thinking about lost revenue from the PvE players and it drove a whole community of players out of the game EA_Rtas sending this to devs will do nothing, send it to the top EA mangers that can make money decisions. At launch they allowed full XP progression through portal maps for players, even playing against only bots. People figured out you could multiply that XP though server settings, and EA removed all XP gain from portal in response instead of just fixing the multiplier.I have seen them allowing full XP on "select experiences" recently but since there is no good server browser, I can't say if there are bot matches opening up again with XP gain. I'm somewhat there with you. I don't really want to play bots myself, though I abuse casual for the XP grind during XP weekends. But if people want to just play bots... in the game they paid $70 for... who cares? EA made a pretty silly decision on this one.

I played only the campaign because of the no solo/co-op mode. I absolutely want that back as I like the physics of bf6 but I refuse to play with randoms.

I am not able to play as a casual gamer - man i just wanna randomly kill some bots and enjoy my life - but just can't compete with all these kids.Would love to play BF6 but there is no mode i survive longer than 2 minutes - it's so frustrating so i had to stop playing it :/

Hi, I get the point you’re making that this affects different kinds of players, including long-time fans, older players, disabled players, parents, and casual players who simply prefer a less competitive way to enjoy Battlefield. That’s clearly something people feel strongly about and keep bringing up. I can’t make any promises from here, but I do hear the strength of the feedback, and I’ll make sure it’s passed along to the studio team.

ApacheVE When it comes to bots, the only way I can keep playing a game unless it is changed is to think of them as a harder mode setting. Fighting on easy is no fun when you have been gaming for decades, but if the game does not flow as it should, that can cause a lot of issues and a desire to come back and play more.

I realize that the bots are not going to be perfect on every map but overall they do a really good job. With advances in AI, it will only get easier to make them perform. I would rather them be a little over than under tuned. I am fine with XP limits per day, reduced XP, having seperate KDR, but it takes a long time to level up the guns and vehicles. What I like the most in bot matches is you can just launch them, not wait for ppl, etc. Having ppl fill in later is ok with me when the server is up. I am not anti-player by any means. I just want the game flow to be more efficient for ppl who dont have a lot of time.

lfslopes I feel this one. Most days we play to relax, and on others we play to be competitive. What we don't want is getting overwhelmed when it is time to relax, because then we put down the game we want to play that used to help us relax.

This right here. This is what it should be about. This is the experience I want to know from the other side of the screen.

In addition, I would say that I will buy every new BF games in case the games arrive with solo/Coop mode as a standard. Otherwise, I will continue with my old and good BF2042. (Or even my oldest BF2...)

Actually, I think there are several ways to enjoy Battlefield. It's a lot of fun to play fair and balanced PvP matches. However, most of the time we just want to relax and really enjoy the atmosphere and gameplay of Battlefield, but without all the competitiveness of an online game. Furthermore, PvE matches are also an online experience. In my opinion, bots often play Battlefield better than human players. Some online Battlefield matches are starting to look more like a Call of Duty with capture the flag. This doesn't happen in co-op matches with bots, and I end up having a much more authentic and satisfying Battlefield gaming experience. Also, adding a solo/co-op experience wouldn't take players away from the conventional online mode. In fact, it would bring back players who love Battlefield but aren't competitive and don't want to stress about the insane pace of multiplayer.
