Can DICE/EA give an official statement about joystick emulation?

It would be really nice to know if we can use software like x360ce and Joystick Gremlin to create our own virtual devices. The use case is mostly to fly with hotas/hosas which is not supported natively by the game.

Currently it is possible to use only one joystick and it is generally messy (requires to disable steam input, possibly requires to disable axes on the stick if there are too many).

Either allowing us officially to use x360ce to map two joysticks as a single device to fly with hosas/hotas or implementing native support for multiple device/ more axes would be greatly apreciated.
