Can we just put the spawn beacon back on Recon!?

In all previous BF games, One surefire way of knowing if the in progress Conquest match I was joining was going to be a big L was if my team had a bunch of snipers and their spawn beacons sitting out on the edge of the maps miles from the nearest objective. 

As someone that ran the Recon most matches, never sniped, and specifically for the beacon, w Carbines or shotguns, in BF4, I can feel your pain.

That said, in BF6 I think the Assault is better suited though I think the beacon should be their class gadget because 2 primary weapons is … meh and still most Assault players never seem to put down the beacon. Why?? 

Most of the player base in most BF games have/has never realized that the beacon is probably the most powerful gadget for PTFO. Can’t count the hundreds of times I’d be on my Engi bc nobody in squad is effectively dealing with enemy vehicles and have a Scout/Recon in squad that’s actually not camping on the edge of the map  but also that  never puts down a beacon until I call them on it.  

I agree 100%. Whoever thought it was a good idea to remove the only utility besides spotting from Recon must be joking. There is a reason Spawn Beacon has been a Recon gadget for every single previous Battlefield. It makes sense that way. Bring back C4 to support as well while we're at it.

And then people will argue "what about Assault?", yes well removing healing and defibs from Assault is an entirely seperate issue. 

Spawn beacon should definitely be a Recon gadget. Recon is just a shell of its former self without it.

No spawn beacon for recon because they sit all round in the middle of nowhere or edge of the map with it,no efford to relocate or move anywhere...forget it guys.

Tough to C4 a tank from the edge of the map...they give us C4 expecting us to go in close, but take away spawn beacon cause they expect us to be far...which is it?

Personally, I don't really see the point of the spawn beacon being on recon anymore considering it provides a 1 time respawn to the owner and acts as a spawn location for the squad. That's because every squad member is a spawn location in BF6 assuming they are not in active combat. 

I'm guessing they didn't want a bunch of recon sitting somewhere high or far from the combat staring down a scope at some unsuspecting victim. Which is funny because the maps are full of roof campers anyway, at least this way they cant respawn to their little nest when they die. 

As someone who frequently plays recon, I have found that the role for recon in BF6 is in fact ... Recon. I kit myself out with the Drone/ proximity detector grenade along side motion sensors.  I assist my team members by being on or near the flag and provide enemy detection and overwatch. Map awareness is very important.

Nah fam, respectfully but nope. Spawn beacons are like the soul of Recon, without them, you’re just “Guy With a Scope #5” praying your squad doesn’t spawn in Siberia while you’re holding the only good flank on the map. Bring back the beacons. Let me yeet my spawn point behind enemy lines and feel like a sneaky little rat again. 🐀✨

Whilst agree, the fact you can pick any weapon for any class ( which I don't like, but hey, when in Rome and all that, does it really matter? Just pick a sniper rifle as assault class if that floats your boat.
