Can we talk about new sniper rifle?
Because it must be a bug. Either it doesn't do 150 base damage or something is wrong with some kind of cap on bullet damage on SRs. I haven't noticed DICE acknowledging it anywhere tho, but maybe I just missed it.
Granted, I'm not playing sniper often but I was kinda hyped about getting SR that can do one-shot kills at extremely close range or be semi-decent at damaging light-armored vehicles. Right now, close-range, it does 80dmg bodyshots and 54dmg limb shots for players, and 32 damage to helis, same as M2010. If that's intended design, it's just a worse version of M2010 with different sweetspot and very satisfying-sounding shots.
Here's ingame comparison with M2010: every single stat is lower, ignoring bugged display of precision.

That's exactly how it's supposed to work. It's a bit hard to test in the firing range because, well, there's not enough range, but the damage starts at those figures for all sniper rifles. For all except the mini scout, the damage rises as it gets closer to the sweet spot, then decreases again; it's not a big range as far as I can tell, so you have to be fairly close to ideal distance to get max damage. Note that you still don't get 100 for the other guns, that's only for the sweet spot, it caps at 80 for the chest. For the mini scout, as far as I can tell, it just decreases.
So as a result, it's really hard to know what damage the gun would do if hitting the chest at ideal distance. I wanna assume 100, but I can't be sure.
