Can't join games even with early access?

I redeemed a code through twitch and the EA website for early access as well as pre-ordered the game, but upon getting into the game all the modes are still locked and say "requires early access." Are there any known solutions to this issue? I know it's only early access for the beta right now, but I should have it, no?
