No, 10k is fine.
Just try to improve.
You can't improve the balance. One team is almost always bots and the match ends in five minutes. They just don't last long enough to get the score.
And if you push like a mad man to get the score, it will end even faster.
This is pure luck based as it is. You need to have the stars align just so that you have teams that will fight for long enough.
I've tried engineering a tank.. but console kids treat the tanks as melee weapons : they drive it in the middle of enemy engineers and freeze in hopes of turning invisible.
(..and just after writing this, I got a match with 12k score ;P it was annoying anyway)
