Cheating has made this game a joke

Your right fanbois usually dont care about the math. They believe a game is awesome when it is actually failing.

My son was playing valorant with his friends screen sharing on discord. 

In this game his friend had wall hacks had a skeleton,health esp with aimbot.

Anyway I told him to ask his friend to open the menu it was blueish box menu with tick box's and sliders and a character to click a spot for the bone aimbot. I could see the name clearly.

Anyways he closed the game and opened battlefield 6. He ran a second program had something to do with disabling TMP it had one button and a Stats box saying its save to run the hack. He opened the same hack what he was using on valorant and it worked on battlefield 6. He was lvl246. Well he was messing with settings and joined a game of conquest. It was drawing boxes,bones,health,ammo and gun name esp. It also had a smell circle on the screen that if a enemy ran in this circle it would automatically aim and shoot.  It was turned down to have slow aim so it didn't snap. 

Next time I will take a video with my phone.

I honestly think there are at least 4 to 6 cheaters in every match as well. Most of them just aren't blatant about it.

That said, I also think the terrible netcode and lag compensation can seriously distort our perception of how many people are actually cheating.

Yesterday the game was running reasonably well for me overall, but I still had countless situations where I clearly started shooting first. Sometimes I had what looked like a four-bullet advantage, with all of those shots clearly connecting, yet the other player still won the gunfight with 20 health remaining.

Then you look at that player's score and they're running around at 14/2, even though from your perspective there was absolutely no way they should have survived that encounter.

In cases like that, I suspect the netcode or lag compensation is giving that player such a huge advantage that, from your side, they temporarily look like they're in some kind of "god mode."

And that's part of the problem: in situations like that it's very easy to look at someone and conclude they're cheating, when in reality they might not be cheating at all. The networking itself can make legitimate players look incredibly suspicious.

PS WarDogs developers just posted they are not a AAA title and fear about the cheating that has plagued BF6 because their anti-cheat is horrible. They are asking the community for the best ways to combat the cheating before they release the game. 

Battlefield 6 is turning into C.O.D or as I like to call it...Cheaters On Demand.

Did you turn crossplay off in your xbox settings or in the game settings?

I turn them both off. 

Pc hackers can spoof the xbox app on their pc to game with xbox players. Make sure you turn off crossplay in your xbox console settings. So that way you turn off all device crossplay except the xbox console.

The math is right, but the interpretation not so much: all you're calculating are the odds of a cheater being in a given match. That's very much not the same as "seeing" them. 

To start with, they may be in your team and you'd probably never notice they're cheating. 

If there are in the opposing team, it's still far from a guarantee that you'll actually meet them. It depends somewhat on your game style, but me, I really don't really get gunned down at most 15-20 times per match. So at worst, I don't even get killed once by every opponent player in any given match. And then, that number includes being killed by tanks, by choppers, by mortars... Situations where a cheat is pretty much meaningless. 

And then I may meet a cheat, and win the duel. Unless something so incredibly weird happened that even a victory on my part still makes me suspicious, I wouldn't even know it was a cheat.

So basically, you need to figure out the average odds of actually meeting a cheat in game, you go through a duel with them, and whatever unfair edge they've got actually contributes to them winning that duel in a way that's genuinely  noticeable. That's when you can say you've seen a cheat. 

Heck, all that can be true, and you may be eagle-eyed about any sort of abnormality, and you may still not notice that some cheating was going on: after all, even a cheat can get the jump on you and kill you from behind "fairly". 

So even keeping to your 6% and discounting the fact DICE reports MIRs fluctuating between 2 to 5%, the odds of having your own experience marred by a cheater in a way that is noticeable in any way are truly vanishingly small.

Maybe now you understand those are not trolls, but people who may very well know what they're seeing and are simply relating their actual experience. In fact, the odds are very much in their favor. 

Your odds of running into a cheater depend on whether you mean a single match or across multiple gaming sessions. Assuming a flat 6% chance per match, the math works out as follows:

Per Single Game 6% chance (or 1 in 16.7 games) that any given individual match has a cheater in it.

Cumulative Odds Over Time Because probability compounds, the chance of encountering at least one cheater goes up the more games you play:

5 games: 26.6% chance (about 1 in 4)

10 games: 46.1% chance (nearly a coin flip)

20 games: 71.0% chance (roughly 7 out of 10)

50 games: 95.5% chance (virtually guaranteed at some point)

Portal should be reversed back to its original state. Id reinstall and play vs bots and my kids. Without people I dont trust. 4 player portal requirement is BS.

Sadly I came here to say this and my experience has been on console. I have it set to crossplay off and yet the lobby has people with pc icons next to their names when I report them. Every game has been aim locking and wall hacking and especially mouse and keyboard users in what Is suppose to be controller only. I couldnt stand it anymore and have to uninstall. Support clearly does not care about controlling this epidemic of cheaters. Shame.

cheating is far more rife than even dice realizes.
