i feel like some Inertia Physics in the movement would help alot, so you slow down when trying to make such sharp movements. more linear movement if you want high mobility

i think itd pause alot of people doing 180s in a direction full-speed flying around for a little edge in a gunfight. maybe even feel more grounded in-game.

im not trying to hit 20 buttons a second to compete w all that

  • Yes, reduce movement speed as maps are already too small, reduce jumping as well and jumping while running should not allow ADS until you land and regain your footing. Never watched a movie or documentary of war where soldiers are hoping around to dodge bullets

Jumping feels insane in this game, i know its always been here, but it feels amplified.

Guys, please please read the patch notes and updates! Yes, this was an issue, it's been resolved to the degree that Battlefield wants it resolved.

    AI Overview

Yes, several updates for Battlefield 6 addressed and adjusted jumping and sliding mechanics, primarily to reduce unintended speed exploits and balance gameplay.
    Specific changes and fixes include:
Reduced momentum: An update significantly reduced the horizontal speed carried from a slide into a jump and introduced a greater penalty for repeated jumps (lowering height). This was done to prevent "bunny hopping" and to promote a more traditional Battlefield experience rather than the faster, "Call of Duty"-style movement seen in the beta.

The 180-turns you are talking about is something Battlefield added to the game called Flick Look. Personally, I don't use it and I don't like it. I use a controller and I have enough to deal with already.

im talking about cutting a sharp direction and continuing to fly left and right across screens, i feel like zooming close to people and jumping around is kinda annoying to deal with, and why not make cover a more important thing

  • The problem isnt the wepaon bloom, that was already fixed. In fact, theyre undoing it slightly, which i disagree. But thats not the real problem. The problem is the map size. Evwrything is condensed, so you get a compact, rushed gameplay. Bigger maps will fix the issue. I strongly beieve that. I think they should add 16 V 16 conquest modes again; would be nice.

I think its funny how the game still feels fast like the last one. 2042 was quite large but very fast movement. Then BF6 is slow movement with, condensed maps, which basically give the fast feel again. Lol it is lesser now, though.

  • We all know that the patches address the movement issue but its still an issue. I do agree that map size is the biggest problem and contributor to how fast the game feels specially when you add the current movement speed and how much bullet fire players can take unless you use an SMG. Movement worked better on 2042 as the maps were huge (length and width) and even with fast pace movement you still needed a minute or more to traverse the map on foot which BF6 doesn't even come close.
