Color grading in Battlefield 6
Let's take a look at a video from the YouTube channel Vic's Corner called "Why Battlefield 6 Looks Like THAT (De-graded)". It's a very informative video about the way Battlefield games, including Battlefield 6, handle color filters.

In short, it mentions that Battlefield games have traditionally relied on color grading to achieve a certain aesthetic or vibe. A good example would be the (in)famous blue filter of Battlefield 3.
Color grading isn't necessarily bad, if done well it can really set the tone of the environment. A bit of a grey tint can make scenes appear more dreary, while a blue tint can convey that you're in a cold environment.
Having said that, if the color grading is too harsh it can make the colors in the environment stand out less, creating the impression that the scene is washed out. This can make it more difficult for the eyes to properly distinguish objects or people in the background. It's subtle, but after a long play session, it can really affect how fatigued your eyes are.
Battlefield 6 is pretty heavy handed on the color grading and I'd honestly wish they'd dial it back a bit. In the beta I noticed that if people weren't moving, they too easily blended into the environment. In addition to that, I found that the dark areas of the map were too dark, while the lighter areas were too exposed.
