colour change options for red dots?

so i like the colour change options we can do with bf6, but my only gripe is that i cant seem to get my red dot when i scope in to change colour. is there an option in menus that im missing? there are times my red dot totally disapears in some back grounds so a colour change to show up better would be nice. any ideas?
