Completed challenges not giving rewards

Is there supposed to be an update to fix challenges not giving you rewards or has someone figured out what to do if you do not receive the rewards for completing challenges? I have gotten my support to elite but did not unlock the badge aswell as I have completed both LMG challenges but didn't receive one of the guns. Same with Carbines and assault rifles. There are guns I want to use but can't because they stayed locked after completing the challenge
