was looking forward to this familiar map.
The train (base) in the middle brings back memories.
I remember the time I played this map extensively.
It also reminds me of the familiar EE. It feels like I have something new to look forward to every day.

Yeah man. I've played 2 rounds and so far am happy. One on Conquest and one on Escalation.
I help run one of the last 24/7 BF4 Golmud servers and probably have 2000 plus hours on the map. I know it, and its idiosyncrasies, really well.
I will probably have a lot of thoughts in the future after more time but for now I can describe it this way. It feels like going back to your childhood home where the new family made changes. Some very familiar feels and some new things that need figuring out.
I hope platoons and the fully customizable map drops in Portal sooner than later. That will be a make or break. I want to join a server with more than 3 others friends.
I think it's the worst map yet.
Its just world of tanks now, especially after tank buffs.
There's almost 0 infantry play. The map is constantly empty.
Thats what happens when you invite low skill players to bf labs and rely on their input
Great map indeed, even if it's old. My only issue with it so far is the insane amount of helicopters on Escalation. Aside from that, this is exactly what Battlefield needs - more huge maps!
Most of the other maps cater to infantry play to the detriment of vehicles so it's nice to have a 'proper' BF map back
