Please consider giving players the option to choose the gender of their character in Battlefield 6. Locking the character to a specific gender can take away from player immersion and personal preference. By allowing us to choose between male or female characters, you provide a more inclusive experience and let each player enjoy the game in their own way. It is a small change that could make a big difference for the community.
I fully agree. I’m a guy who wants to play as a male. They clearly have both models it shouldn’t be a big deal to allow you to use them for any class

Why does it matter so much?
Because some male players like to play as a male, just like some female players might want to play as a female. Its called player choice. Data does show though that the player base for these games are mainly played by males who generally prefer to play as their own gender in a military shooter.
You ready?... Because it doesn't makes sense. On every possible aspect you can think of; forcing the player to play as a woman in a Battlefield game isn't just unrealistic, it is also a slap in the face of the millions of players who loved Battlefield's games before the disaster of Battlefield V. Realistic warfare was an important aspect for the 98% of Battlefield's players who loved the games and were ALL MEN. They are pandering to a minority that does not exist and at the same time they are insulting the rest of the gamers and especially fans by *FORCING* us to suffer a women crying, shouting & dying in a expected to be realistic combat zone. Without having a single thing we can do about it, except not buying it all of course.

It would be great if BF6 included the option to disable character voices by gender. It's not about excluding content or representation, but rather offering more freedom of customization, just as we can already adjust the HUD, language, and dialogue volume. This feature would help: Immersion, allowing the player to adapt the audio to the setting or time period they want to recreate. Competitive focus, reducing distracting sounds and aiding concentration. Consistency in audio options, since other filters (narrator, music, dialogue) already exist. It's a small addition that increases accessibility and allows everyone to play the way they prefer, without compromising anyone's experience.
Nah, that’s a weak ask. They should just allow people to choose their gender and race, we shouldn’t have to settle
If this doesn't end up in the game, a simple option, then we'll know it was never about player choice and representation.
Those are just buzzwords they use to gaslight you into accepting their ideology, then they move the goalposts and do it all again.
This is not about choice. They FORCE exclusivity of choice, for the sake of inclusivity. The irony.

This is social engineering it's pushed by the investors we all know we are. like blackrock, vanguard, even governments do it nowadays. give a bunch of cash to game devs or starting game devs and then... well you NEED to do this or that or you wont get the "loan" forgiveness or tax cuts etc.

I would also prefer the choice to choose which gender I would like to play as in the customization menu for the sake of player freedom. I don't MIND the presence of women in the game. I am having trouble wrapping my head around how it works currently. Do you switch genders between spawns? Is your class what determines your gender? If it's in between spawns, I do think that switching from one gender to the other in between spawns is a little jarring.
They force you to play as Asian lady if you run Engineer. Absurd. I’ve been the guy saying they should add the option of being a female, because girls play. My GF plays. But forcing me to be an Asian lady? Nah. Fake WOKE

But as a gamer, I like that games offer the option to choose between male or female, and that everyone can choose how they want to play. It's as simple as that.I agree with this. EA should add a gender selection option so every player can play in the way that feels more comfortable and immersive for them. I have nothing against the presence of female characters in the game, but I believe having a free choice would be fair for both male and female players, allowing everyone to pick what they prefer without it being predetermined.
Absolutely agree and we shouldn't even be begging for playing as a male of female.
I understand EA's gender balance policy, but let us just choose.
