Corrupted file's and all setting's lost after update

Twice now I've spent weeks dialling the correct settings and controls and graphics settings that suit me, Firstly after season  1 update then this new update on the 9th of December have caused me to lose all settings.

 Everything and I mean everything has been set to default again.

Why? Its seriously frustrating
