Could we equip pistols as a primary so we can get 100 “attachment points?”

I’ve always love the challenge of running around with just a knife and a pistol like some sort of stealthy “Sam Fisher” or “James Bond” and was wondering if there was a possibility the devs could allow a pistol to be equipped in the place of a primary so I could load my pistol up with a silencer and other attachments instead of being limited to the 60 attachment points that secondaries have?
