Cross-play disabled only for console players! Seriously?

Today, information was released that cross-play will be disabled for console players.
This means that PC players will be forced to play with console players and their extreme auto-aim, which we see in BF2042 and BF6 beta.

Is this your proclaimed listening to players?

Do you actually read the posts and suggestions from PC players? Cross-play has never been in the BF series, and it's one of the main things that ruined BF2042.
I'm really angry about this WOKE nonsense, with no option for free choice!

Agreed, PC players should have the option to disable crossplay too.

I personally don't see why they wouldn't allow PC players to do the same. Battlefield 2042 had it and I can still find a game within 2 minutes at any time of the day.

I don't think that's the case. If I want to play without console players, I don't have the freedom to choose to play without them. On the contrary, console players will have this freedom of choice in the game. This means that they can choose whether to play on a server with or without PC players. PC players cannot.

The result of disabling crossplay is actually the opposite of what you fear: PC would then play only against other PCs.
Enabling crossplay means all in the mix.
