Thank you for continuing my thread (with this sad twist). Its really annoying. They know BF2042 is dead on Xbox with crossplay off but they decided to keep with killing console only experience. They also said that in BF2042 they will be prioritizing console players against console players. So I have the fear its the same system. Also during the beta when crossplay was ON usually over 50% in the lobby was PC.
To be honest, I only had one match with crossplay enabled, with only console players. But after that, all the others were full of PC players... it seemed like they filled the lobby with a few console players. After that, I turned off crossplay and the fun was on a whole new level. I hope console players turn crossplay off right away and this spreads throughout the community.
it means the game will be dead on Xbox on arrival.
