Crossplay off with PC? OK to do so?

I saw on SM that you can do some editing to turn crossplay of for PC.

Over the last few days I've been doing some experimenting where I look at unbelievable shots that have killed me, almost every single time it's a controller player. Like last night when I had a dude with his back to me, I start shooting him at 15 feet away he somehow spins and one shots me, yup controller player.

I'd rather play with bots than controller players with their auto-aim.

My question I have is doing this something that can get you banned?
