Damage dropoff from range

A damage curve should be implemented instead of this stepped 20% decrease. This stepped decrease feels lazy, makes the gun play less dynamic, and it just doesn't feel good. Please implement a damage curve like in previous games before 2042. This is just lazy and dumb

  • Smg's beaming across the map when lmg's feel like pellet guns. Same with gattling guns on helicopters there so weak its ridiculous.

    The creators have no balls. Helicopters should be powerful and feared. SMG range is just ridiculous and I agree with the LMGs, you can be in cover and mounted and someone walks around the corner in the distance and shoots you with an SMG instantly.

    the main reason for this is that the percentage drop is the same for both guns and so damage drop hurts lmgs more because its a larger value overall in terms of the actual number of damage that you are dealing. 

  • min damage + (extra damage * (long range - current range + min range)/long range) formula should look something similar to this
