Another one of my friends is quitting the game because of the miserable TTK and netcode. It’s great that BF6 is currently the best-selling shooter, but for how long? It’s honestly sad, because at least in CoD the hit registration actually works properly.

The TTK is something that keeps me from enjoying the game along with hit registration.. I’m not giving up on battlefield 6 yet, there’s still a chance that at some point we get the old feeling back. Well once the devs realise that they are close to killing this game if they don’t start to listen to the community at some point. I went back to playing Quake3 recently and it felt good to simply play a game again.. and I remembered that there is more in games than just meta loadouts and movement spam or a grind for gadgets that should be available right from the start XD I guess I’m getting old but to me it feels like this game forgot what made it big in the first place and lost its soul in the process to appeal to a new audience while leaving those behind that have been around since the beginning.

Agreed, the world has changed since then... and the gaming world along with it.
We used to be able to play games simply for the sake of the gameplay itself being entertaining for hours and hours at a time, with no unlock meta even being so much as a thought in anyone's head yet.
Nowdays, the unlock meta IS the game...and the base gameplay itself is just not good enough to stand on it's own. - trw19872 months agoRising Vanguard

Agreed. It needs some tweaking for sure...and honestly as AcidryzeN suggested, the netcode is a problem that would potentially help the TTK issue and the hit reg. BF2042 didn't hit it's stride until about a year post release...and it was awful. It won't take Dice long to get this tightened up I don't think
