DICE still hasn't understood what the biggest problem with BF6 is.

DICE still hasn't understood what the biggest problem with BF6 is.

The new map is well-done, but it won't keep PC players engaged. In one or two weeks, player numbers will drop again, perhaps to another all-time low. Veteran PC players won't return to the game until BF6 feels like a classic Battlefield. This means that players may return only when BF6 features longer TTK/TTD, similar to what was seen in BF4, BF1, and BFV. Also, not until PC players can choose whether they want to play against console players who have an extreme advantage.

I think the developers only realized this (TTK/TTD) at the very end of BF2042’s lifecycle. I sincerely hope that the developers will set aside their pride, acknowledge their mistake in this regard, and set the TTK/TTD to the usual levels for the Battlefield series.

They know exactly what the problem is, but they've already made their money, so they don't intend to waste time and, more importantly, money on further improvements—and why, you ask? Because they'd rather just scrap this title and start working on another one, where they can make more money, and the adventure can start all over again.

Many of us made the mistake of trusting them that this time (when the game was released in Beta) we were dealing with a real Battlefield that still required improvements that could be fixed over time, but everything was going well – only to discover that it was all a setup. Leaving us with even more limited content, more bugs, and a lack of support from the developers (who have clearly abandoned the title).

Now they're probably waiting for the moment when the audience drops to such a level that they can confidently say they'll discontinue support due to low interest in the title. In other words, they're blaming it all on the players.

This isn't the first title they'll do this to, and it likely won't be the last.

One thing is certain: players won't trust them anymore, which will impact sales of their future games.

How is it possible that in the past one studio was able to create such masterpieces as Battlefield 3 and 4, and today four studios are unable to create one game well? It's a disgrace.
