DICE why am i being put into the loser bad team every time?

Title. I'm curious. My enjoyment of the game is absolutely ruined by now. Every time I'm in a loser team. I'm not super good or anything not at all but these guys I'm matchmaked with is insanely bad. I'm objective playing and still can't carry the team alone. I want to be in the good teams. I don't mind having bad team mates but where are the bad players in the opposite team?

I don't care how many maps you add to the game. I don't care about how many weapons you add to the game. I care about not having bot tier team mates that causes me to ruin my own kd because I try to push and nobody else and result in permanent lose basically every round.

  • That does suck to be on the losing team often. How's your experience in smaller game modes if you've tried them? I find the smaller modes to be just a tad bit better, but they do still have pretty bad matchmaking every now and then. (smaller game modes such as domination/king of the hill/TDM/etc.). I think the game does have an issue where players seem to not get objective though. It's like they are playing TDM style but are in Conquest/Escalation/etc.

I only did tdm/dom when I had them as weekly challenges. Other than that I play breakthrough conquest mostly. Did some escalation in the past but it is even worse if your team mates don't play objective.

You are right. A lot of people seems like they don't understand how to play something like breakthrough. So many times I see enemy capping an objective and I try to block it but I can't alone when 4-5 people capping while a lot of team mates are just a few steps away from the objective capture boundary but they don't step inside to block the capture. Like they don't know you have to out number the enemy people that are currently inside the objective or something. The game is super easy to understand but perhaps it is not for everyone or they just simply don't care about it.  I wish they just played TDM if they don't care about objective play and only want to farm people.

Yeah thats tough. I see it more often with the modes you mention. I think they need to implement more rewards for players that capture and defend objectives. It's unfortunate. Sometimes I wonder why they don't play in different modes if thats how they want to play. TDM, it would make more sense. And yeah, Escalation is REALLY bad if your team is not balanced. I stopped playing that mode since its nearly impossible to carry a team. I've stuck with smaller game modes with a full squad, and the experience has been much better. If you don't have a full squad, it can be pretty tough though.

I'm fairly convinced that I'm stuck in some kind of bad matchmaking that I just can't climb out of. Sometimes I win a pity 1000-0 round which is obviously just to counter my lose streaks. Most of my games are lose for sure and with awful team mates. I don't mind having bad team mates just not all the time. Also doesn't help that I'm solo queueing. Basically randoms never revive in my squad. Even in the entire team almost never get revived. If S2 doesn't fix this for me probably gonna call the game. Too many other stuffs to play to waste time on something I don't even enjoy. I played almost every battlefield games a good amount but never experienced anything like this. I bet this is on the matchmaking.

  • I must admit I find conquest games brutal and I end up camping at a location defending and area or i get picked off by ridiculous sniping or helicopters.

I end ip playing koth or sqdm as that feels more balanced but in tdm the is no balancing.

    That sucks

Lol yeah, the pity 1000-0 rounds. I've seen them. I'd be great if they could reward these kinds of actions such as reviving players. But hey, I get it, if the game doesn't get any better and your having a miserable time, makes perfect sense to quit. Out of most of the issues in the game, I think matchmaking is a universal issue that almost all players complain about and rightfully so.

I think part of it is matchmaking, and another contributor is the map design of the new maps. (2042 suffered from this as well).

I've had more come back games in Firestorm which goes to show how well it's made for balance.  Come on DICE back to basics, it's not hard, study the BF2, BC2, BF3 & BF4 maps like a master class in map-making.  Then copy that formula for creating new maps.
