EA doesn't care about Hardcore players
They offload Hardcore to portal, and what we end up with is an inconsistent mess. 200% damage on one server, 300% damage on another. This one might have 50% life, and full of bots, and oh look, this other one has disabled slide. You never know what you're gonna get, and let's face it, it's a horrible experience.
And it really sucks, because WE know if they just made an official hardcore mode playlist button, there are TONS of players out there that would play. Instead, we get stuck digging through the arbitrary portal garbage, and playing with boring, non-tactical behaving bots, when it should be a one-click solution to play with our hardcore community....
The most frustrating part is the constant marketing of "play it your way." They will give us playlists for open and closed weapons, but you can't make a tactical experience easily accessible for hardcore players? You have to make us work for something we've been playing for decades?
Call of Duty has it. All Battlefield games until BF5 had it. So what's the problem? Why won't you do something that is so commonplace and common sense?
Here's the part EA probably hasn't considered. Hardcore mode in BF6 sucks just as bad as it did in 2042, because you're doing it the same way! And I don't know why I have to tell you this, but you shouldn't be doing anything the way you did in 2042.... So please give us our beloved hardcore mode back and stop treating it as a second-class experience. I want more value, not less, and I'd like to play BF6 for years to come like I played BC2, BF3, BF4
Portal should be for NEW ideas, and there is nothing new about hardcore mode.
