Engagement distance feels mid
The range of engagements and the combat at range feels mid. Why? Cuz the 1st maps in the game were smaller than what we got in previous battlefield games, to appeal to more people, blah, blah, blah.....

I've noticed that even on Hagental where I seem to be constantly out shot at mid range by someone with an SMG when I've got a AR,but then conversely I've hip fire mag dumped an SMG at close range at someone, only to be killed by the guy with a carbine. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Rambo, but something seems off. As you say, all the weapons were tuned for close range combat due to the maps, and they just don't seem to be working on what should be their intended ranges. Past games have shown how it should work, but the devs have dropped the ball (again) on this one. Once again they have to reinvent the wheel.
