Engineer question please?

Hi all, i cant figure out how i did it and google is not helping, i play as enginner on PC when i was in a tank it said press E or a key think it was E or C then i was able to disable land mines? Cant figure out how i did this seems they were highligted as spotted and it gave me an option to remotely disable enemy land mines? Cheers all.
