Everything is Anti AA and The AA is anti NOTHING

The AA is still so below par compared to air units that you might as well just remove the vehicle.

A tiny little bird sized helo packs 10x the punch that an AA vehicle does and it can fly. Yet this big armored "tank" like vehicle cant seem to shoot rounds bigger than a .223 in terms of damage?

On maps liks Firestorm, jets and helos can EASILY hide beyond the 800m distance that an AA can attack from, and 2 shot you. Yet the AA can unload 3 high velocity bursts and not secure a kill at 20m. The AA rockets should just be made to 1 shot kill if we manage to get through the infinite flare cooldowns and below radar nonsense.

Every single point you made is wrong. First of all, no heli can 2 shot an AA tank, much less from 800m away LOL.

Second of all, the high velocity rounds are very strong. You just need to learn how to lead your shots effectively, you can beam jets and helis if you learn the trajectory and how much to lead the bullets.

Third of all, below radar is not nonsense. Below radar is one of the only mechanics that aid in pilot survivability, bf6 is very lock-on heavy and without below radar it would be impossible to fly longer than 2 minutes. Additionally, if you’re a skilled pilot and the enemy team catches on you will be painted for the rest of the game, and being painted removes the ability to not be locked on below radar.

Next, flares being ‘infinite’ is not an issue, once a pilot flares he has to look for cover until his flares recharge and a bad pilot will be punished quickly. flares are actually active much shorter than in previous titles like bf4 or 2042. Also, missiles have a chance of going through flares which is a bug and needs fixing.

Lastly, one shot AA missiles sounds like the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard. Why would something that takes 0 skill to use be a 1 shot? That doesn’t make sense and would not be fair or balanced.

It sounds like you just want to be able to delete jets and helis with ease, instead of practicing and mastering how to use the MAA effectively. I don’t want to be rude but it’s a skill issue on your end, not an issue of the MAA being ‘underpowered’. You need to stop coping with your lack of skill and just put in the hours and practice the MAA to actually get good with it instead of expecting it to be a free air deletion tool. I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t leave your base and stay by your CRAM protection either.

Thanks for this post. Maybe the OP should try moving instead of camping in spawn with AA.

I kind of miss the vehicle balance and control we had back in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. Both ground and air vehicles just felt much more balanced overall.

As for AA, I agree it doesn’t feel great in Battlefield 6. I personally enjoyed how it worked a lot more in BF3 and BF4.

That said, I don’t think AA is the only issue. To me, it’s more about the overall vehicle design and balancing. BF6 would really benefit from going back to a model closer to BF3/BF4, both for ground and air vehicles.

    Just my opinion.
