Directions of exiting a vehicle: view direction or movement keys?

In BF6 context
exiting a light vehicle / armored vehicle gives us a direction to exit (but you gotta hit the breaks before exiting i think ) must not panic and exit carefully when enemy is attacking  
but the Traverser M2 (transport armored Vehicle) gives us a narrow choice of direction to exit but we gotta check and change seats before exiting to  exit on a desired side of the vehicle 

as you said exiting can be mapped to movement keys but the driver might moves the back and forth if he wanna exit front or back 
this is not the case for console / controller as they have 2 key bind for accelerating
