Hello,
This is a bit of a rant/complaint. Straight up I have submitted 3 appeals. The 1000 character limit is a bit of a pain.
I am a 64 year old guy that games just to game and enjoy my time with the ones I game with. My self my grandkids and some online buddies all play together. We play MW ll, Call of Duty, Delta Force, Hell Let Loose, Arc Raiders etc... I Every one of these games has there own anti cheats so why am I able to play these? There is no incentive for me to cheat. What does any company believe I would gain by cheating? I am just a guy that enjoys games and getting my mind off of the daily grind. In all the years I have been gaming, I have never been banned from any other game except BF6.
Recently, May 24 2026 received a permanent ban on both my Xbox and pc accounts. Below is the reasoning.
The reason provided was
We observed Gameplay enhancement in Battlefield 6. This means using unauthorized methods to enhance in-game performance by removing gameplay constraints or improving in-game abilities (e.g. weapon, movement, or item enhancement
I had not actively played Battlefield 6 for some time prior to the ban. The only activity involving the game was updating it on my Xbox Series X and PC while updating several games in my libraries. I did not launch Battlefield 6 or participate in any matches.
Approximately a week later, some friends invited me to play Battlefield 6. When I logged in on my PC, I discovered that I was banned. I then tried to use my Xbox X both my Xbox and PC accounts had been permanently banned. So they just ban all systems as in guilty by association? If I was cheating or exploiting where is the proof it was on both systems?
I have never used cheats, exploits, or unauthorized software. I am not techie enough to use these types of software. If I have a PC problem, it goes back to Micro Centers cause if I try to fix it then disaster strikes.
Is there truth to the fact that some 3rd party apps can cause false positives? Some of the ones I see listed online are on my PC.
