So in this case PC players who play with controller on PC could only play against other PC/console players who use controller ?
I think it's not going to happen . Personally I'm very happy about adding mouse and keyboard feature to consoles.
I believe that adding mouse and keyboard support to Battlefield 6 on consoles — even if only to a limited extent — might slightly reduce the use of cheating adapters like CronusZen, XIM Matrix, or ReaSnow S1. Of course, those who want to cheat will find a way regardless.
No, apologies if unclear, controllers vs controllers regardless of platform, mouse and keyboard regardless of platform.
The argument many seem to make is playing with buddies across platforms. So if someone on consoles wants to play with their PC buddies they can plug in supported mouse and keyboard and vice versa.
I’ve also played previous games on both such as BF1 on pc and console. Pretending like those two ways of gaming are in any way equal is a farce.
If I’m taking a cap on PC I’m going to have much more situational awareness because I can look around left-right, up-down, much more quickly and fluidly with a mouse. I can also have a much easier time sprinting jumping and tossing c4 onto a tank using mouse and keyboard. You can also get a bead on headshots at long range much easier with a mouse. I can also change mouse sensitivity on the fly with my mouse if I want finer control depending on the situation using a mouse button.
It’s nice you like the support, you should be able to plug in whatever and play against others using the same peripheral.
