[Feedback] Tank splash damage is broken after Winter Update
I logged on today and found that splash damage for MBT primary weapons, which I've already complained about as being inconsistent and unreliable, is significantly worse - after the update that was supposed to improve that exact thing. I can fire HEAT or HEMP right at somebody's feet and 75-80% of the time it just won't kill them. It'll do 33 damage a lot of the time. This is dog**** levels of unrealistic and unfair for gameplay.
We have a game filled to the brim with RPGs, such to the point that I had three engineers follow me all game and ONE of them repaired over 4,000hp alone. I was firing the entire time and the game simply was not registering hits or proper damage. It's so bad now that I've largely stopped using the main gun. I know it's so sexy to nerf tanks all to hell, but you really gotta wonder what the point of keeping them around is if devs push updates like this. Desaturate RPGs, lower RPG damage tables, make APS last longer, ****in something man. I am a highly skilled tank player and I'd rather leave the tank behind and just not see it contribute to the game. Because in this state, it basically can't.
Splash damage on the IFV is great; it's consistent, reliable, decently sized, and effective. It makes the IFV competitive and relevant. No one is asking for tanks to insta-kill everything, but please for the love of god make them at least relevant to the game. RPGs everywhere, and even if I find them, can't kill them. I just get to watch them kill me.
