Forcing players to play Battle royale for battle pass.

I like battlefield, because it's battlefield, and i personally don't enjoy battle royales, so why am i forced to play a gamemode if i want to max out my weekly alotment of points for the battlepass? 

If i had known this was gonna be a thing, i would not have bought the Phantom edition. 

I'm not saying they never should have added the gamemode, i couldn't care less, but forcing me to play something that i don't enjoy, is confusing to me.
