General Feedback/Balancing

Weapon balancing needs another look. Seems to be only a few weapons that really stand out as viable. With SMGs, the SGX just dominates. There is no reason to use anything else. Same with the M4. I should be able to play whatever gun I want and still be competitive and not at a disadvantage in every situation. All weapons seem pretty useless past 50m anyways. The damage drop off and lack of headshot damage is an issue. So is the lack of accuracy at range even when tap firing. I understand there are attachments to increase headshot damage, but I feel like those should be a choice, not a requirement. Maybe increase headshot damage to 1.75x and have the attachments increase it to 2x/2,5x. Then adjust the cost of it accordingly. For vehicles, the IFV feels good, the tank feels okay, helicopters seem a bit OP but that isn't a bad thing. Jets are in a pretty good spot. The issue is the AA vehicle feels utterly useless. Against air vehicles, it feels like you would do better with just a stinger. The cannons do hardly anything to infantry or ground vehicles. I believe they should be better. Like in BF4, the AA was good against light targets and infantry. I mean you are shooting 30mm-35mm auto cannons, they should shred. The trade off is a lack of armour and damage to heavy vehicles. The next issue I find is with engineers. Mines are way too strong in this game. Doing 90 damage to a vehicle is broken, not to mention the amount that you spawn with and can place. I feel like they should act more as they did in the past, doing mobility damage and needing 3 to deal 100 health to an enemy vehicle. When it comes to repairs, it seems strong. I was fighting in a tank against another tank. Both of us had 1 engineer repairing and neither of us could do enough damage to kill the other. An engineers shouldn't be able to out repair incoming damage. Maybe add a in combat debuff to repair speed on a vehicle or something to limit repair spam. Lastly, progression. Weapons take way too long to level. Personally I feel like you should have every attachment unlocked by 500 kills. Not saying that 500 kills should make the gun level 50, but having to kill thousands of enemies to unlock everything is way too much. Feels like you are barely progressing and isn't very rewarding. When it comes to vehicles, are there more modifications coming? A bit disappointed by the lack at launch. Hopefully there is more to come.
