You do realize you get the same assistance if you plug in a controller? Even of you turn off cross-play there will be people using a controller like me. If you are losing to controller players then it really is a skill issue

its not impossible for people to be good at aiming on a controller dude very stupid argument to make. just because your dying to asome one on controller doesnt mean your bad so many variables as to why you would lose that fight. stating the most obvious thing in the world about being able to use a contrller is also stupid. everyone on pc is well aware they can use a controller on pc thats been a thing since the dawn of the controller. We dont want to use controllers that being said it doesnt make giving crontrollers so much assistance to compete with mouse precision is okay. They have given them too much help and its caused an imabalance in specfic scenarios head camping for one a very common tactic is heavily in their favor due to the amount of assistance they are given. full auto firing from distance they have less bloom and recoil by default that gives them an advantage in full auto battles at longer ranges. less bloom in general gives them an advantage overall and having less recoil to contend with. I consistently have high da is 95% of my matches that doesnt make their advantages any less bull**bleep** or annoying to contend with. If you want to use a controller on pc you go right ahead their are plenty of game types where controller use is warranted but in an fps you might as well just play hte game on console at that point.

PROFESSIONAL controller users (people that make a living playing CoD with a controller) have said that the BF6 aim assist is "extremely powerful". These dudes put food on their table with controllers, so I, for the most part, believe them.

I don't use AIM Assist because it isnt good.
To explain: the Assist slow your move down, when an enemy is in front of you.
This means: if someone Jump or slide in front of you, you don't get him. You loose.
And it feels for me very strange Like someone hold my movement back.
I am Sure, that better Console Player don't use AIM Assist.

All this arguing is stupid actually. Both sides have advantages and disadvantages. Pc has lower latency issues, faster response times, higher frame rates, better opportunity for movement and they can actually see the console players a second or two faster than consoles. Plus kbm have more buttons to use and can use the flick mechanism in the game to get quick turn arounds and challenge any fight easily. That being said, the only advantage a console player has in an fps game is the aim assist, which pc players can have by just plugging in a controller. So as a person that have used both devices and both inputs. I can say that the other guy is right about it being a little to do with skill and not the benefits of hardware. I play a lot of portal customs on my ps5 where the aim assist is turn off and I’ve reduced on the official game too because I’ll be shooting someone and then it pulls me to the dude that runs across and the person who I was trying to kill first, kills me. While on pc with kbm, I get to focus the person I was already killing then flick to the other. Just saying!! Not a solid argument to talk about the aim assist when pc has way more advantages.

Exactly but some of us refuse to cheat, and I'm sry kid but this is cheating. I get usually 40 50 kills per game with effort. First game i did with full aim assist o killed 60+ eazyyyyy and to be precise 73 kills in my first game in a contrôler and let me tell ya the last time i used my controller was when Forza 3 was released that more then 8 years ago and without any practice at all i almost doubled my kills with little to no effort... I refuse to be a puss and use controller but this is just encouraging ppl to go controler and cheat with no remorse.. it is fcng shameful

Absolutely not a skill issue in over 90% of the cases. The devs literally gave cheats to controller players so they could try and keep up with m/k players. The problem is that it still just feels cheap when you're a skilled player that gets beaten because a dude with a controller pressed the "aim straight at the guy and lock onto him" button. Plus, giving us the option to turn off cross-play would still get rid of the vast majority of controller players. Even if there's a little bit left, it would still be much better than it is now.

What a dumb thing to say. Loosing aggainst a controller player has nothing to do with skill. We are in a situzation where Aim Assist became so strong that casual players without any sense of game can compete with m&k veterans on a medium skill llevel. Now give this aimbot to a pro controller players. IT IS LITTERALY A LASER BEAM MONSTER ON SPEED.

definitely not aimbot. i’m considering switching to mnk cause you have more of an advantage for sure and i’ve heard from many mouse and keyboard players. i agree recoil needed to be nerfed for controllers but this im assistant isn’t nearly as strong as you guys say it is

I use a controller on PC, I have yet to have my crosshairs snap to a target.
- EKMA499 months agoNew Veteran
Then why use a controller?
- HillbillyJohn3 months agoSeasoned Ace
Because I don't want to play hunched over a desk.
- 70d11045730aa68d3 months agoRising Traveler
Not once have i snapped onto a target. I have 3.1 k/d. Maybe the controller players they are losing to are using Cronus
- one9Delta9 months agoRising Traveler
Hmmm, aim assist that auto puts cross hairs on a target for you and a player who has to move their mouse to the target. lmao, that you say its skill. Nice troll im still laughing..

- OldFartPhil8 months agoSeasoned Novice
ANY PC player who uses controllers to play FPS games should be banned from gaming on PC for life , YOU are the one with the skill issue as you are using aim assist yourself .....
