Disagree. Competitive is a very broad term for a rivalry to be the best against other people playing the same game. You're trying to say only Esports is competitive, which is incorrect.
The root word is Compete; meaning:
to strive to outdo another for acknowledgment, a prize, supremacy, profit, etc.
