    EA disabled Enhance pointer precision because they saw it was better on a web forum. They are **bleep**ing losers.

It's actually called Enhance Pointer Precision. It make your cursor very fast or very slow depending on the speed you move your mouse. It make your mouse super-intelligent as it appear to adapt his dpi on the fly. Some people claim it is better with it off. Somehow me and the Microsoft engineers thinks otherwise.

It only add predictability to your cursor if you can't figure out the speed at which your mouse move. It is basically the option for losers, EA made it default to everyone.
