Golmud Player Count Feedback

128 players?  Their netcode/lag comp/rented Amazon servers can't handle 12 players, and you want 128?  you are a brave one

Have to agree it wouldn't cope with 128 players. They frame rate drops I'm getting on it is brutal now. Hits not registering either at times. Seems it's went back a few updates again with hit reg 😕 

Wish the E and D were closer to each other but other than that it feels great. MY only issue is I'm having a hard time getting used to playing an actually BF map and the hybrid ones we got in the base game. Different play styles for whatever map for me. 

Pretty sure 2042 was a resounding NO on 128 players for more than just performance reasons. The majority of the player base hated that chaos.

Are you guys actually releasing prox chat? I'm tired of launching the game just to be disappointed. Try learning from arc raiders if it's too hard for you.

I don't think 128p would work, personally. I also didn't find it enjoyable in BF2042, as it was too chaotic and highlighted how the servers couldn't cope.

 i dont understand all these negative replies on 128 player count, i didnt have ay problems in bf 2042 128 player maps

128 is overkill, which will spike lag on the server. I would rather opt for 100 players on Conquest in future BFs. 64 is fine for me. I do not think higher player counts automatically make better pacing in the game. We do need rentable servers and our own map playlists. Golmud is decent... I think the number of buildings and objects on the map is a bit too high for 64 players - dunno about other modes; overall, it is a good map.
