Buddy, no one disagrees that they reverted to the aim assist of the beta. Buddy, you can tell me that as many times as you want. No one disagrees.
What we disagree with is whether aim assist was better in the beta or not. The developer said yes. The patch notes you linked to says yes.
What is your argument?
Their goal:
"Our goal was to make aim assist feel more effective beyond mid-range fights which was one of our focuses within Battlefield Labs and Open Beta."
They changed it. People didn't like it.
"At launch, we increased slowdown at longer ranges, but once the game went live, we saw that this made high-zoom aiming feel less smooth and harder to control."
In other words, they made it worse.
Now, they made it better.
So, it is better now, than it was. Just like it was better in the beta.
Buddy. What are you arguing? It was worse in the beta? The developer said the opposite. And the extremely brief patch notes agrees.
TLDR: It was better. They stated that in an interview. In an interview, they stated that controllers were too effective against keyboard and mouse per their collected data. They made it worse. People complained. Now they made it better again.
This doesn't need to be an argument. Just read what is out there.
