Half the time the game doesn't give me a grenade indicator, I just explode without any hint that it was about to happen. Then other times, even with an indicator, I'll run 20 miles away from the thing and it goes off like a nuclear warhead and kills me like my death was preordained.
I feel like it's the same when I grenade someone. I rarely ever have the thought that it was a good throw or placement, just "Wow, I can't believe I just got a kill with a grenade."
